Computer-assisted learning software

Computer-assisted learning (CAL) software has been developed by J. Höhle and several AAU students since 1989. This CAL software is used in the education of the Danish Chartered Surveyors and in the education at several other institutions. It is free and it can be downloaded from our server. I am interested in hearing about your experiences with it. If you have similar software I would like to receive a copy and try it out as well. In this way I would like to increase the use of CAL software for photogrammetry, remote sensing and image processing and encourage other teachers and students to produce or improve CAL software in these fields.

At this point of time the following programs can be down-loaded:

ORTO (orthophoto and its integration into GIS/LIS)
LDIP (digital photogrammetry)

Another type of educational program runs directly on the Internet by means of a browser. At present the following is available:

LDIP Inter (Image processing, digital photogrammetry)

Auto_Orient (Automatic orientation of aerial images by means of database information)

LDIPInter2 (Matching techniques and applications)

Click on the wanted program for more information or to run it.
